In 2024 the HMICFRS released a report outlining key recommendations to ensure better support for victims of stalking in response to the 2022 super complaint written by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust. Responses to stalking have been shown to be inadequate with a lack of understanding about what constitutes as stalking from public services. To cultivate effective responses to stalking an understanding of victim experiences, robust systems of victim support, collaboration across agencies and effective perpetrator interventions are needed.
