6 in 10 people experiencing menopause said their symptoms had a negative impact on their work in a CIPD survey.

Jacqui McBurnie is the Founder and Chair of the NHS England and NHS Improvement Menopause Network. In 2018 Jacqui founded and established the NHSE Menopause Network to champion menopause awareness and improve support in the workplace.

In this video, Jacqui discusses national policies and the system approach that is needed in the workplace to improve support for those experiencing menopause. She highlights the need for linguistics in menopausal policies to be inclusive, signposting what support is available to employees and where they can find the support.
