According to the Office for National Statistics, there has been a 10% increase in knife-enabled crime in the last year.

Jonathan Toy is the Service Manager for Trading Standards and Community Safety for Warwickshire County Council.  He has specialist knowledge in tackling violent crime, developing a number of programmes to prevent gang violence, supporting individuals and families away from gang-affected lifestyle.

In this video, Toy discusses the benefits of whole school preventative approach to serious youth crime. He shares how Warwick County Council have developed a 3 year programme to embed a whole school personal approach to intervene in points of transition where young people are more susceptible to exploitation.
