Approximately two-thirds of transgender employees do not reveal their gender at work according to research. [1] All LGBTQ+ colleagues are protected from discrimination under the Equality Act 2010 which workplaces have a legal obligation to uphold.

Liz Ward is Director of Programmes at Stonewall, and as part of this role, she leads the Workplace, Empowerment and Community Engagement teams.

In this video, Liz shares the importance of active positive allyship in the workplace to support non-binary and trans colleagues. She highlights simple workplace adjustments and behavioural changes that can help to create more inclusive work environments.
