A common treatment plan for obesity is to refer the patient to a weight management programme, though many physicians are reluctant to do this. Liverpool City Council: Promoting Better Sexual Health Services for Women

Liverpool is England’s 6th largest city with a population of 498,048. The population has risen by 12.6% since 2009. There are areas of deprivation with high teenage pregnancy rates, as well as high abortion rates. We heard from Liverpool City Council about their current women’s sexual health strategy through the distributions of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) and the development of Women’s Health Hubs.
