More than a third of LGBT staff in the UK have hidden that they are LGBTQ+ at work in fear of discrimination, according to Stonewall.

Emma Green is Head of Diversity and Inclusion at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. She has 10 years of experience working in Equalities, helping organisations adapt their priorities and missions to become more inclusive spaces.

In this video, Emma shares the importance of aligning an organisation’s external mission and priorities with internal aims to address intersectional issues. She highlights the need to create inclusive spaces to allow for staff input, ensuring all are a part of furthering LGBTQ+ equality in the workplace.
